Woodland Free Crochet Boot Cuff Pattern

Instructions for Crochet Boot Cuff

Using P/11.50 mm hook Ch 10

Row 1: Hdc in 2nd st from hook, sl st in next, *hdc in next st, sl st in next* rpt from *to* to end of row. Ch 1 turn. (9)

Row 2: Hdc in 1st st, sl st in next, *hdc in next st, sl st in next* rpt from *to* to end of row. Ch 1 turn. (9)

Rows 3 & 4: Sl st in 1st st, hdc in next *sl st in next st, hdc in next* rpt from *to* to end of row. Ch 1 turn. (9)

Rows 5 & 6: Hdc in 1st st, sl st in next, *hdc in next st, sl st in next* rpt from *to* to end of row. Ch 1 turn. (9)

NOTE:  Width of boot cuff can be made bigger by adding rows or smaller by deleting rows at this point.

Repeat rows 3 through 6 until you reach row 32.  Stitch count will be 9 for every row.

Use the chart below to keep track of your rows.  I have indicated which rows start with a hdc and which start with a sl st.  It is very important to keep those correct or your texture will be changed.

Be sure to cross off as you finish each row.

After row 32 fold in half short ends together.  You don’t need to worry about right and wrong sides as they are both the same.  Using slip stitches sew together to create tube.  Fasten off and weave in ends.  

Ankle Band

Change to I/5.50 mm hook and worsted weight yarn.

Work sc in the end of reach row. (32)

Working in continuous rounds.

Rounds 2-10: Sc in 1st and each st around. (32)

Fasten off and weave in ends.
