Free Crochet Cowl Pattern – The Brookside Perfect for Guys!

Last Updated on January 12, 2023 by Cyprianne Nolan

The Brookside Free Crochet Cowl Pattern is the perfect project for any level of crocheter and is one of my favourite patterns to make. I am so excited to be adding it to my blog for you today!

You’ll love how this classic cowl wraps around twice, creating a plush layered look with a soft drape making you feel both cozy and comfortable. Choose to make in one solid colour or watch the texture come alive as you add multiple colours for each round.

I really think this is a perfect crochet cowl pattern for men and boys too! All three of my guys where this one. No like literally – this one cowl LOL. Of course not at the same time 😉

Shown here in the grey and black it would look great with any fall or winter jacket. I have been sure to include all 4 sizes for toddlers, children, teens and adults here on my blog so that you can make as gifts for family and friends too!

Made from worsted weight yarn, this amazing texture is a result of the slip stitch and half double crochet – also known as the crunch stitch. Be sure to check out the FREE MATCHING HAT PATTERN to create the perfect pairing.

Wrap yourself in this beautifully textured cowl this fall and be the envy of all your friends.

This cowl is a perfect accessory for a cold winter day in the city. Made from a textured crochet stitch and in a gorgeous blend of colours, this accessory will make you feel warm and cozy. Wear it with your favourite winter coat or simply dress it up with a beanie and some boots.
