Choose two of your most favourite colours in your favourite bulky yarn and 11.5 mm hook and get ready to start!

Two Tone Free Crochet Cowl Pattern

ABBREVIATIONS
ch – chain
rpt – repeat
sc – single crochet
sk – skip
st – stitch
slst – slip stitch
MATERIAL
P-16/11.50 mm hook
Bulky Yarn – I used Patons Shetland Chunky in Biscuit and Soft Teal. You will need approximately 1 1/2 skeins of each.

CROCHET COWL INSTRUCTIONS
Cowl is crocheted in rows width wise then joined at each end to create circle.
Ch 28

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across. (27) Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: (Sc, ch 2, sc) in 1st st, skip next st. (sc, ch 2, sc) in next, skip next st.
Repeat from * to * until end of row. (14 ch 2 spaces) Ch 1, turn.
Row 3: (Sc, ch 2, sc) in 1st ch 2 space. (sc, ch 2, sc) in next ch 2 space Repeat from * to * until end of row. (14 ch 2 spaces) Ch 1, turn.
Repeat row 3 until pieces measures 24 to 30 inches.
Change to contrast colour now. Cut and weave in ends of main colour.
Repeat row 3 with contrast colour until pieces measures 48 to 60 inches.
You will now be joining the ends to create circle scarf. Fold neck warmer in half lengthwise short ends together. Work slip stitch through both layers to join. Fasten off and weave in ends.
