Ankle Band
The band for the crochet boot cuff is worked in rows.
Total length of band will be the part that wraps around angle.
Add or remove rows to make this part bigger or smaller

Note: If you make the band bigger or smaller the total number of stitches for the cuff part will need to change as well.
Using 5.50 mm hook
Ch 11
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across (10) ch 1 turn
Rows 2-34: Sc in blo (back loop only) in 1st and each sc across (10) ch 1
After row 34 the piece should measure approximately 10”
Fold in half and using slip stitches sew short ends together, end with Ch 1. This will create a “tube” shape.
Do not fasten off. Continue with round 1 of cuff below.

CUFF
- The cuff part of this crochet boot topper pattern is worked in continues rounds
- (tc, sc) means that one triple and one single crochet are worked in the same stitch
- Instructions between * and * are to be repeated
- No need to join at end of rounds and no need to turn
- Easily adjust the height of the boot cuff by adding more rounds to make taller, less to make shorter
Rnd 1: Working around edge of the “tube” place sc in the end of each row around. Join with slst, ch 1 turn. (34)
In round 2 we will be creating spaces to accommodate the larger hook size we are using for the cuff.
Rnd 2: (Slst, ch 3, slst) in 1st and each sc around. Join with slst, ch 2 turn. (34 ch 3 spaces)
Change to 8.00 mm hook ch 2 turn
Remainder of boot cuff is worked in continuous rounds. Do not join do not turn. If you do it will result in a different texture.
Rnd 3: Hdc in 1st and each chain 3 sp around. (34)
Rnd 4: (tc, sc) in 1st hdc *sk next st (tc, sc) in next hdc* rpt from *to* to end of rnd. (34)
Rnds 5- 8: (tc, sc) in 1st tc *sk next st (tc, sc) in next tc* rpt from *to* to end of rnd. (34)
Rnd 9: Hdc in 1st and each st around. Join with slst. Fasten off and weave in ends.
And… that’s it! All done! Just repeat for the other cuff and enjoy.
