Make this free crochet bunny hat pattern and bring some cozy warmth – and lots of attention – to your little one’s (and your!) wardrobe.
This sweet little crochet bunny hat is perfect for Easter, Valentines a great Halloween costume, a whimsical photo prop, or just a cheerful everyday hat for anyone.

Worked top down in single crochet even those fairly new to crochet can have success with this pattern. Photos are included to help you with the assembly of the hat.
The hardest part will be sewing on the ears and mouth but I have you covered with YouTube videos for attaching the mouth and for attaching the ears. The video is for a different hat but the same principles apply. So have a watch if you are struggling to attach them.

The Yarn
This crochet bunny hat pattern is written for worsted weight yarn but also works up great in bulky yarn. Be sure to check your gauge if substituting to make sure it doesn’t end up too big – but a little wiggle room is also perfect when making a hat with earflaps.
Check out www.yarnsub.com to see if it is a good substitution.
