Crochet You Will Love Forever

Easy Peasy Crochet Cowl Pattern – The Wellington

February 26, 2021      Leave a Comment

Picture is of women wearing a crochet textured crochet cowl in thick yarn.

Sit back relax, grab a cup of coffee! You are really going to enjoy making the crochet cowl pattern. This crochet cowl is a great project when you just want to make something beautiful with little effort!

Using the same stitch pattern throughout, the entire cowl is made with a large hook and super bulky yarn. Time will fly as you work mindlessly only to come too and think, ‘where did this come from?’ this gorgeous snuggly cowl – ‘did I make that?’ 😂

This is one you must add to your stash perfect to impress those you love and no-one needs to know how easy it was but you!

Scroll down for the free pattern below or get the ad free printable download here.

This crochet cowl loose but not so loose that it won’t keep your neck warm. If you want this crochet cowl to fit very snug all you need to do is adjust the starting chain accordingly. For a smaller cowl chain less stitches and for a bigger just add stitches.

The Yarn

This cowl is made from super bulky yarn shown here in Lions Brand Thick N Quick in Fisherman. You could also use two strands held together and the texture would look great! I have also made this cowl in LionsBrand Homespun with two strands held together it is beautiful and soft. (sorry I gifted that one before I took pictures:( )

Want to use your own yarn?  Check out www.yarnsub.com to see if it is a good substitution.
