When you live in cold climates where the wind blows a crochet or knit hat just isn’t warm enough. We all work so hard on our beautiful garments so it is a shame to see them put into a drawer until the warmer days come so that we can wear them again.
Well here is your answer! You can line your hats in 5 REALLY EASY steps!

HAT SHOWN – Cumberland Ski Hat
- STEP ONE: Trace your hat onto your lining
- STEP TWO: Cut the lining out
- STEP THREE: Fuse seam of liner
- STEP FOUR: Sew liner to the hat
- STEP FIVE: Flip liner right side out.
- OOPS! Forgot SIX! Wear it somewhere really really cold!

I don’t know how long ago this was done but this is fantastic! I love how you explain everything so it makes it easy to understand and not so daunting to do. I lined a purse and it wasn’t that hard but I had to re-do a few times as the instructions were not so clear. Thanks for all your time and your wonderful patterns.
