This how to line a hat with earflaps video tutorial has been a long time coming and I am so happy to finally have it up here on my blog! If you are looking to line just a beanie this is a better tutorial as it doesn’t have earflaps  How to Line a Hat.

When you live in cold climates where the wind blows a crochet or knit hat just isn’t warm enough.  We all work so hard on our beautiful garments so it is a shame to see them put into a drawer until the warmer days come so that we can wear them again.

Well here is your answer!  You can line your hats in 5 REALLY EASY steps!

I would love to know – what did you choose to line your hat with?

HAT SHOWN – Cumberland Ski Hat

  1. STEP ONE:  Trace your hat onto your lining
  2. STEP TWO: Cut the lining out
  3. STEP THREE: Fuse seam of liner
  4. STEP FOUR: Sew liner to the hat
  5. STEP FIVE: Flip liner right side out.
  6. OOPS! Forgot SIX! Wear it somewhere really really cold!
